Installation

This space heating appliance is intended for domestic use only. It must be wall-mounted as indicated in these instructions. For vertical installation, the control panel should be on the left side.

The electrically powered appliance must be positioned away from water sources, showers, or faucets. Persons operating the controls must not have wet hands. The electrical outlet must not be positioned too close to the heater.

Flammable, combustible materials, or pressurized containers must be kept away from the appliance.

Check that there are no electrical cables or pipes in the wall that could be damaged during installation.

Wall fixing

Make sure that the plugs and screws supplied for fixing are suitable for the type of wall on which you want to fix the appliance.

Do not install the appliance if

  • The power cord is damaged.
  • If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced.
  • The appliance or control panel is damaged.
  • The appliance’s power supply is 230V 50/60Hz.
  • Make sure the power line is rated for the appliance’s power.
  • Make sure the power cord never comes into contact with the appliance’s hot surface.

The power line must be equipped with an omnipolar circuit-breaker with a contact gap of at least 3 mm, including the pilot wire, if present. If the appliance is installed in a bathroom, the line, including the pilot wire, must be equipped with a high-sensitivity differential protection device with a maximum rated current of 30mA.

In humid environments (bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, etc.), it is very important that the electrical connection is at least 25 cm from the floor.

Caution!

  • The appliance is designed for heating domestic spaces.
  • During normal operation, the surface of the appliance may reach high temperatures that can cause burns.
  • Combustible, flammable materials, and pressurized containers (e.g., spray cans, fire extinguishers, etc.) must be kept at least 50 cm away from the appliance.
  • Do not touch the appliance with wet hands or feet.
  • To avoid overheating, never completely cover the appliance.

Warnings

  • This appliance is not intended for use by children under 3 years of age. Children should be kept away from the appliance and supervised.
  • The appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge.
  • Children should not play with the appliance.
  • Do not unplug or plug in the appliance, adjust, clean, or perform any maintenance unless you have the necessary knowledge and experience.

Cleaning and maintenance

To clean, use a neutral detergent and a soft cloth, without wetting the appliance. Do not use acidic or abrasive substances.

The appliance requires no maintenance. In the event of malfunction, contact qualified personnel.

Instructions for turning on the capacitive control panel

The radiant panels are equipped with an advanced control system with capacitive controls and light indicators that indicate the set function.

You must place your finger on the HEAT button for at least 3 seconds. One of the three LEDs will light up to confirm that the panel is turned on. The heating level will be the same as the one the appliance was last turned on.

REGULATE THE HEAT

REGULATE THE HEAT

After turning on the panel, briefly press the HEAT button and select the desired level (press as many times as necessary to illuminate the LED for the desired level). LEVEL 1: MINIMUM temperature (approximately 20% – 50°C) – LEVEL 2: MINIMUM temperature (approximately 60% – 60°C) – LEVEL 3: MINIMUM temperature (approximately 100% – 75°C). Pressing briefly again returns to level 1.

After turning on the panel, simply press the TIME button briefly and the ½ hour LED will light up. Holding down the TIME button again will switch to the 1 hour LED. Pressing it again will turn on both LEDs, resulting in a 1.5 hour operating time.

At any time, you will need to hold down the HEAT button for 3 seconds.

If you press the TIME button to set a different time, the timer restarts completely. If you change the temperature using the HEAT button, you can adjust the desired heat level without affecting the set or elapsed time.

If the panel is turned on min/med/max and there is no TIME LED on it will heat continuously until manually turned off.

POWER OUTAGE

If the power goes out, the panel can react in two ways when it’s turned back on: 1) It will turn on at the value set before the power outage; 2) If set to TIME, when power is restored, the panel will remain off.

TEMPERATURE SENSOR

The built-in sensor constantly monitors the panel temperature, automatically turning it off if the temperature reaches 75°C.
